I was served a rendition of this recipe over the holidays by a family member. It contained a few ingredients like heavy cream, parmesan cheese and pasta that are definitely not Whole30 compliant. I really wanted to see if I could change the ingredients to gluten and dairy free and still enjoy this dish. Thank goodness for coconut cream! Because of it, we were able to pull this off and make a delicious, Whole30 compliant creamy dish. Also, you had me at bacon.
